Payment: 

A retainer fee of half the amount of the shoot is due upon booking. The final payment will be required the day of the shoot, unless otherwise agreed upon. I accept E-transfer, cash, Paypal, or cheques! E-transfers can be made to vbonderudphoto@gmail.com.

Location:

Depending on the shoot, I am more than happy to shoot outdoors, downtown, in a forest, or in the mountains. All of my studio sessions take place in my studio, Juicebox Studio Co. Located in historic Gastown, minutes away from Waterfront, in the Dominion Building on Cambie and Hastings. I am also more than willing to travel for shoots! Have a destination wedding? Count me in! Standard travel fees apply.

What to Prepare:

Each shoot is different, and depending on the style you’re going for, bring a few different choices! I am more than happy to help you choose an outfit. Each shoot has a set number of outfits, and depending on the package you booked, we will only have time for a few. Bring your favourite outfits, the outfits you feel most confident in, and we’ll go from there! Layers are great, think of flattering colours for your skin tone, hair and eyes, and please stay away from any bring neons, or loud patterns. Unless you have booked a HMUA, please arrive hair and makeup ready. Your booking does not reflect primping time, and if you need to do hair and makeup you will be cutting into your shoot time. You are welcome to bring makeup, and retouch during our session. 

Cancellations and Rebooking:

I get it, life happens! If you need to reschedule I completely understand, we will find a new time that works for you. If you need to cancel, please allow more than 48 hrs to give notice. I understand your time is valuable, and so is mine! Please be respectful, and provide clear communication. In the event of a cancellation, your non-refundable retainer fee will be kept, and can go towards a future booking. If you are a no-show, your retainer fee will be kept, no exceptions. I would much rather rebook with you, and ask for clear communication on what your plan is! In the event I have to cancel, your retainer fee will be returned. 

Retouching:

All of my photos are delivered edited, and lightly retouched. Unless otherwise asked, I do not edit out scars, burns, beauty marks, etc. I will do light retouching, like removing pimples, stray hairs, bags under your eyes, etc. I do not edit you to make you look like a completely different person. I think you’re beautiful just the way you are, and should be celebrated! Depending on the retouching request (ex: editing out tattoos, or perhaps editing out an ex…), an additional editing fee will be required. As I spend hours retouching and editing your photos, I kindly ask you to refrain from adding your own edits and filters. Trust me, they’re already perfect. Please don’t throw an IG filter on. You’ll make me sad. I understand sites like IG have strict cropping rules, and I resize to reflect those sizes, but you are welcome to crop for IG and facebook only.   

Sharing:

I love seeing you share my photos! Kindly tag me on IG @veronicabonderudphoto, on Facebook Veronica Bonderud Photo, and in publications as Veronica Bonderud Photo. I do not share any photo without your permission, especially intimates and boudoir. However, if you have given me consent, I would love to share your photos on my site, and my IG and Facebook!  

Nerves and Jitters:

If you are a first timer, and are nervous about your set, whether its head shots, boudoir, etc, please don’t stress! You have nothing to worry about, and you are in great hands. We will chat before your shoot, throw on some music, have a dance party, and get those jitters out. If needed, you are welcome to have a friend tag along as moral support. I make sessions fun and painless, and if you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to speak up! Your session is your time, and I want to make sure you are confident and in control. 

Covid Rules:

I am taking Covid very seriously, and am following BC guidelines. I will wear a mask on our shoot, and if it is a studio session, the studio will be sanitized both before and after our session. I have hand sanitizer with me at all times, and give you lots of space during our sessions! If you are feeling sick, or have been exposed to someone with Covid, please do not come into your session. I want to keep everyone safe and healthy, myself included. I would be happy to rebook you at a later date. If you have any concerns, you are welcome to reach out to me via email. My studio had a max. capacity of 4 people, so for the foreseeable future, I will not be taking large studio bookings at this time. Larger bookings (ex weddings, bands, events) will be shot outside at a safe distance.
